WCL Management Services t/as Rail LinQ provides the Rail LinQ Driver application to support the use of the Rail LinQ Portal for the rail management support services. This application is designed to provide accurate real-time information, pro-active route management, travel time estimates, and assist with improved customer experience for both drivers and operators. The purpose of the Rail LinQ app is to:

  • Notify relevant users via SMS of available work

  • Allocate vehicles and routes

  • Allow GPS monitoring within the Rail LinQ system

  • Send a one-time SMS code to access unplanned run information

  • Use in-built GPS tracking and location services to support drivers and operators including visual and audio turn by turn navigation features and a ‘navigate to station’ feature to support deployed vehicles getting to the required station to begin the service for customers

  • Minimise the need for the driver interaction
     

This SERVICE is provided by WCL Management Services at no cost and is intended for use as designed. This page is used to inform interested parties regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information associated with the use of our Service. Downloading of the App confirms agreement to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Information collected is GPS tracking software embedded in the operating system within the device and location services function used for providing and improving the Service. When you log out of the Rail LinQ app the GPS tracking software link to the API is severed.


Information Collection and Use

While using our Service, we require access to GPS tracking software and location services embedded in the operating system within the device. In the event of an error occurring with the app, data will be collected (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. Every endeavor is made to protect our software systems from cyber-attacks securing your data within our servers. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
